About the Role
Southend Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care. This part-time role involves working 18 hours on Thursday and Friday, with an unpaid 1-hour lunch break.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care using advanced autonomous clinical skills and a broad theoretical knowledge base.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patient conditions, referring as necessary.
- Provide expert advice to patients, carers, and colleagues.
- Prescribe safe, effective, and appropriate medication as an independent prescriber.
- Support and care for a diverse patient group as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
- Registered General Practice Nurse (currently registered with the NMC).
- Recognised ANP qualification at Masters level and work as an Independent Nurse Prescriber.
