HGV Mechanic Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our team at Moran Logistics Careers. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of our company vehicles, ensuring they are in a roadworthy condition and compliant with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, and wheel balancing.
- Conduct daily inspections of vehicles to identify any defects or issues.
- Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle service and repairs, in line with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all legal requirements and company policies related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
