Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at Hawkwell House Hotel Oxford. As a Food and Beverage Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of food and beverage service are provided to the highest standard in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the food and beverage team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food and beverage products.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve food and beverage sales and profitability.
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs, including inventory management and waste reduction.
- Ensure that all food and beverage operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and implement menus that meet customer demands and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor and analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote food and beverage products and services.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a food and beverage leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing food and beverage teams.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective training programs.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including kitchen and front-of-house staff.
