About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Mergers and Acquisitions agenda. As part of a small team, you will report to the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development, and work closely with legal and finance teams to:
- Lead the evaluation of M&A opportunities, inbound and outbound, presenting recommendations to senior management and the Executive
- Provide commercial, structural, and negotiation support in developing and assessing partnership opportunities
- Lead the execution of transactions from inception to completion, working with business and deal teams, including managing due diligence processes
- Maintain contacts with advisors to act as an initial point of contact
- Support on strategic or corporate development projects as required
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage transactions through their lifecycle
- Communicate complex ideas and structures simply to senior management
Requirements
- Experience of M&A in a professional or corporate environment
- Financial qualifications (e.g. ACA)
Desirable Skills
- Experience in the retail or healthcare sectors
