Service Care Solutions is a reputable provider of precision engineering services, specializing in the manufacturing of high-quality machined components for the Aerospace sector. To support its ongoing growth, they are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector who possesses a thorough understanding of AS9100 standards and First Article Inspection (FAIR).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and validations of components throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR) to confirm compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify that all manufactured parts meet established drawing and specification criteria.
  • Identify and manage non-conformance issues, providing detailed reports.
  • Engage in Root Cause Analysis to address and rectify quality concerns, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality and production objectives.
  • Handle customer returns and maintain effective communication with clients to foster positive relationships and resolve quality issues.
  • Assist in compiling and analyzing monthly quality statistics.

Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the Precision Engineering Aerospace industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards.
  • Familiarity with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR AS9102).
  • Proficient in the use of mechanical measurement tools (such as Verniers, micrometers, calipers, and gauges) and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Experience in conducting first-off, stage, and final inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with AS13002 implementation, including measurement system analysis and Statistical Process Control, is highly desirable.
