About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our well-established and supportive CAMHS team. This is an opportunity for individuals at Band 6 level or those who are developmentally ready for this role (Band 5/6). We offer tailored support and development pathways to help you achieve your career goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical assessments, interventions, and care plans in collaboration with children, young people, and their families.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and effective clinical care.
  • Manage a caseload of young people presenting with complex mental health conditions, including risk assessment and management.
  • Deliver one-to-one and group therapy sessions, as well as contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff members, fostering their professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with clinicians from other teams, including Single Point of Access, Early Help, Urgent Assessment, Home Treatment (i2i), and Eating Disorders services.
