Year 1 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join our dynamic team at a top-tier school in Mansfield Nottinghamshire East Midlands. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 students.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings professional development workshops and other school activities as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 1 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up to date with the latest educational practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
