We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at WT (UK & Europe). As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the success of our projects, working closely with our clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cost management advice to clients across various sectors, including healthcare, education, and commercial.
- Develop and implement cost plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, including tender documents, contracts, and final accounts.
- Manage and coordinate the work of junior quantity surveyors and other team members to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring that projects are delivered safely and to the required standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
