We are seeking a highly skilled Food Technologist to join our dynamic Technical team at The ONE Group Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality across our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Technical Managers with day-to-day technical tasks and manage critical paths to ensure all project deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure accurate and up-to-date technical information, including specifications, nutritional data, and allergens.
- Prepare for key events such as product reviews, customer sampling sessions, and market reviews by gathering samples and completing required paperwork.
- Conduct site audits and create detailed audit reports.
- Assist with non-conformance issues raised during audits and work with the team to close them out.
- Complete and maintain product specifications, as well as assist with specification checks.
- Support the Technical team in packaging and sending samples to customers, suppliers, and for analysis.
Requirements:
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or relevant experience in the food industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- A passion for food quality, safety, and compliance.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
