With no minimum purchase requirement, the Majestic selection features over 1,100 varieties of wines, spirits, and beers available both online and in-store. Our key asset is our team of over 1,000 WSET-trained professionals who provide knowledgeable and friendly service across all channels.
The Role:
As a Junior HR Business Partner, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the People strategy within our Retail teams. This position is ideal for a motivated individual eager to develop their HR career while supporting our retail operations. You will collaborate closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR assistance, enhance organizational effectiveness, and cultivate a positive workplace culture. Your strong communication, coaching, and influencing abilities will be essential in empowering Line Managers and promoting consistency and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing robust internal stakeholder relationships through effective communication and visibility in the field, whether in our Stores, Distribution Centre, or Support Centre.
- Exhibiting strong professional credibility and fostering ongoing relationships as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders.
- Collaborating with the ER Advisor and Senior HR Business Partners to address employee inquiries, resolve conflicts, and ensure a constructive and productive work environment.
- Contributing to our comprehensive talent and succession planning process alongside the recruitment strategy by participating in hiring processes, conducting interviews, and partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent.
- Assisting in the implementation of performance management processes, including performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and development plans.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards by staying informed on HR laws and regulations, and aiding in policy development and communication.
- Supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction, including conducting engagement surveys and formulating action plans.
- Maintaining precise HR records and generating reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment statistics.
- Contributing to HR projects and initiatives by providing research, analysis, and administrative support as required.
- Working in tandem with the Senior HR Business Partner and other members of the People team to deliver integrated HR solutions that align with business objectives.
