We are seeking a highly skilled Payments Technology Specialist to join our dynamic team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a key player in shaping the tech backbone of our operations, you will be responsible for providing Senior Testing Analysis for the Payments Technology Business in a cross-business functional project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure seamless system functionality and innovation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner closely with Operations, Product, and Technology groups to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Defect Management: Monitor and report testing defects and re-test processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Test Results and Reporting: Validate and present test results for internal sign-off and provide effective systemic data-driven reporting to support program reporting.
- Agile Project Delivery: Manage Agile project delivery methodology and upskill with evolving methodologies.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with relevant experience or equivalent expertise in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining Cucumber/Gherkin, Java, Selenium, or a similar tool.
- Functional Knowledge: Functional knowledge of Payments domain and experienced in testing processes to define requirements, document user stories, and test scripts through to test execution.
- Test Automation: Utilization of test automation tools to enable efficient and timely E2E test execution, with previous experience of automated testing required.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Skilled at problem-solving, ability to scope and provide structure to complex issues, rapidly learn unfamiliar processes, and provide insightful and timely remediation.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to prevent errors and highlight redundancies/opportunities.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to keep sight of the overall context and remain centered on the strategic picture, identify areas of opportunity for process improvement, and build out recommendations to proceed.
- Business Driven Development/ Test Driven Development: Experienced in using Business Driven Development/Test Driven Development test methodology or test case automation.
- Cucumber/Gherkin, Java, Selenium: Experienced in using Cucumber/Gherkin, Java, Selenium, or a similar tool.
- Financial Services Industry: Relevant testing experience within the Financial Services industry supporting multiple LOB's delivering in a highly complex, pressurized, and high-volume environment.
- Advanced Numeracy and Microsoft Skills: Advanced numeracy and Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint/Pitch Pro skills to create professional slides and structure presentations with minimal input and need for secondary review.
