Job Title: Maintenance Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at Caroline Baker Private Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our clients' properties to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular property inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the properties are in good working order.
  • Perform repairs and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other household systems.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and renovations.
  • Monitor and maintain home automation systems.
  • Assist with household tasks such as furniture assembly, painting, and general repairs.
  • Handle routine tasks, including changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and addressing minor damages promptly.
  • Provide technology support, including basic understanding of AV setup (Sky, iPad, control 4 systems).
  • Be available for on-call duties in case of emergencies or urgent maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to alarm systems or security alerts.
  • Maintain open communication with line managers/clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns.
  • Provide regular updates on maintenance activities and schedules.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the private sector.
  • Proficient in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
