Job Summary:
Auxtronic Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, coaching and mentoring them to ensure they are happy and progressing in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 4 engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Project work involving the installation of electro-mechanical machinery, control panels, and electrical equipment within the plant.
- Drive continuous improvement on site, working with your team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Reliability Engineering, focusing on ways to improve the plant and reduce downtime.
- Electrical and Mechanical fault finding and repair, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
- Planning and scheduling of Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and running at optimal levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer, with a strong background in electro-mechanical maintenance.
- Preferred industry experience in Food, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Beverages, Distribution, Brick, or Automotive.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff, maintenance teams, and leadership.
- Apprenticeship-trained with a City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
