**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Transformation Specialist to join our team at Verastar Limited. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing our procurement processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **System Implementation and Optimization**: Lead the implementation and optimization of our procurement software system, ensuring optimal configuration and integration with existing systems.
  • **Supplier Management**: Oversee the vetting, selection, and ongoing management of suppliers, ensuring compliance and fostering strong relationships.
  • **Procurement Strategy**: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our organizational goals, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability.
  • **Tendering Process Management**: Manage tendering processes to ensure they are fair, transparent, and result in the best value for the organization.
  • **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with departments across the business to ensure procurement strategies are integrated and supportive of overall business objectives.
  • **Performance and Compliance Monitoring**: Create and monitor KPIs and SLAs for supplier performance and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • **Reporting**: Provide regular reports on procurement performance, financial savings, and supplier compliance.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in procurement, particularly in a role involving transformation or system implementation.
  • Demonstrated success in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts in a B2B, wholesale, or service-oriented environment.
  • Experience in leading tendering processes and managing significant (£1m+) contract negotiations.
  • A track record of developing and implementing effective procurement strategies.
  • Desirable: A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Desirable: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS).
