Bennett and Game Recruitment Limited are delighted to be working with a renowned architectural practice, with an international presence, on their vacancy for an Architectural Technologist. This exciting opportunity will be based in their Nottingham office.


The practice has a talented team of over 60 employees, spread across their 4 offices, and has established itself over 30 years ago. Due to an influx of Education and Healthcare projects, they are ideally seeking a candidate with experience in either of these sectors. Their portfolio also includes retail, leisure, residential, and industrial projects, with project values ranging up to the 70 million mark.

Architectural Technologist Salary & Benefits


  • Competitive salary, ranging between £38,000 – £50,000
  • Open annual leave policy
  • Based in a central location with easy access via public transport
  • Hybrid working after probation, 2 days a week. Required in the office on Mondays and Fridays
  • Professional fees covered
  • Pension scheme, 5% employer contribution


Architectural Technologist Position Overview


  • The use of Revit on a daily basis
  • Producing high-quality drawings and designs, on a variety of Healthcare and Education projects
  • Working across RIBA stages with a focus on the technical stages
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, local planning authorities, and building control
  • Work at a practice that takes pride in developing their staff
  • Work on a variety of projects within numerous sectors
  • Opportunity to progress and achieve CIAT status
  • Familiar with Technical Building Design and Building Regulations to prepare packages and make submissions
  • Carrying out site visits


Architectural Technologist Position Requirements


  • Relevant degree qualified
  • Experience working within a variety of sectors, preferably Healthcare or Education
  • Revit proficient
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 2+ years post-qualification experience
  • Live in a commutable distance of Nottingham
  • Proven design skills, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a portfolio
