Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist – Facilities Management – Commercial Sector

An exciting opportunity has emerged to join a reputable facilities management organization. We are currently looking for an Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist to be part of a dedicated team within a commercial environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing both scheduled and on-demand maintenance tasks.

Working Hours

Standard hours are from 08:00 to 17:00.

Contract Duration

This position is temporary with a duration of 1 month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lighting systems management (including minor installations, troubleshooting, and lamp replacements)
  • Conducting emergency lighting inspections
  • Overseeing control panel operations
  • Ballast replacements
  • Monitoring BMS systems (e.g., temperature regulation)
  • Performing all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Maintaining and updating maintenance logs
  • Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., unblocking toilets)
  • Working with pumps and motors
  • Managing air handling units (AHUs) and fan coil units (FCUs)
  • Implementing water treatment procedures (e.g., temperature checks, flushing, log maintenance)
Qualifications
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
  • 17th or 18th Edition certification
  • Ability to provide proof of trade qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial maintenance
  • Multi-skilled approach
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Client-facing experience
