Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and assessment of marine structures, including harbour and quay walls, piers, wave protection structures, marinas & berthing facilities, and coastal land reclamation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and assess marine structures using relevant technical analysis, design software, and AutoCAD.
  • Liaise and communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other designers to offer advice and guidance on matters relating to your work.
  • Review designs and drawings completed by team members or other parties for compliance with design standards, best practice guidance, contractual obligations, and client expectations.
  • Attend design meetings, site meetings, and carry out site inspections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of three years of UK postgraduate experience.
  • Competitive salary and excellent flexible benefits package for permanent staff.
  • Full UK Driver's license required.
