Contracts Manager Opportunity

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly organized and motivated Contracts Manager to join their team during an exciting period of expansion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects ranging in value from £10,000 to over £1.5 million.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review job specifications and pricing documents to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Coordinate with design consultants to achieve cost-effective designs that meet client requirements.
  • Procure materials and equipment competitively throughout the project lifecycle to maximize profitability.
  • Source, manage, and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor and update project schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Liaise with clients regularly to provide fortnightly progress reports and address any concerns.
  • Conduct monthly project valuations and invoicing to ensure accurate financial management.
  • Manage pricing for any contract variations or additional works to maintain profitability.
  • Review project budgets to identify areas for cost savings and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained on all sites to protect employees and clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer applications to manage project schedules and financials.
  • Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team to achieve project goals.
