Senior Building Surveyor

Bennett and Game Recruitment is proud to present a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our client's expanding Cambridge office. Our client is a leading construction and property consultancy with a reputation for excellence, and we are seeking a skilled building surveying professional to strengthen their team.
This is an exceptional chance to work with a company that offers a comprehensive range of services across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, defence, residential, and community projects. Their expertise spans architecture, building surveying, building services engineering, planning, interior design, sustainability, civil and structural engineering, quantity surveying, project management, CDM, and health and safety services.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as building surveyor on a variety of projects and professional services, liaising with team members and others as necessary.
- Manage similar works undertaken by junior colleagues to ensure quality and timeliness of service provided to clients.
- Manage own workload and report to team lead and office Partner on financial forecasting and progress of commissions.
- Continually improve own profitability by managing time and resources allocated to projects.
- Attend site for meetings to understand and clearly define clients' expectations.
- Prepare and contribute toward fee bids relevant to building surveying and multi-disciplinary projects.
- Degree/Masters in Building Surveying.
- 2 years PQE experience ideally.
- MRICS or MAPM qualified.
- Varied project and sector experience.
