Job Responsibilities

Position Title: Healthcare Reception Coordinator

Reports To: Duty Managers

Working Hours: Various, to be arranged, Monday to Saturday

Key Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, both at the reception and over the phone.
  • Assist and guide patients in accessing the appropriate services or healthcare professionals in a courteous and effective manner.
  • Provide general support to the practice team and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors.
  • Deliver efficient and informative reception and administrative services to patients and practice staff.
  • Experience in customer service is essential, while prior experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.

Health & Safety

  • Promote and maintain health, safety, and security as outlined in the practice's policies.
  • Identify risks in work activities and manage them appropriately.
  • Utilize training to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work environment, adhering to infection control procedures.
