Job Summary:

Light iQ, a leading independent lighting design consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Lighting Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Lighting Designer, you will work closely with our Senior staff and Directors on various projects, providing support and contributing to the creation of innovative and inspirational lighting schemes for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of lighting schemes for various projects, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Collaborate with Senior staff and Directors to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Contribute to the creation of lighting designs that meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of lighting design principles, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Provide support in the preparation of project documents, including AutoCAD drawings and technical specifications.

Requirements:

  • Academic background in Architecture, Design, Interior Design, or Product Design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, with knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English language, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Full UK Work Permit/Visa or UK Resident Status.
  • Natural interest in architecture, interior design, and product design.
  • Residence in Greater London.
