Compensation: £34.49 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage various housing refurbishment initiatives, ensuring effective communication with project team members, management, contractors, and residents.
  • Develop and produce specifications and schedules of work based on the outcomes of the fire risk assessment program, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Ensure that actions identified in the fire risk assessment program are completed, verified for quality, and audited in line with regulatory standards and Council policies.
  • Conduct compartmentation inspections as identified in the fire risk assessment program to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, Fire Safety Act, and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Support the Fire Safety team in establishing processes for managing, delivering, and completing findings from the fire risk assessment to meet regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Fire Safety Management certificate or an equivalent qualification in fire safety management or engineering.
  • Certification in fire door inspection or a minimum diploma in a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a comparable role, particularly in fire-related project management, design, servicing, repair, or installation.

Additional Information:

  • Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K. is required.
  • This position necessitates a basic DBS.
