Job Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Catering Inventory Coordinator to join our dedicated and dynamic Catering Team. This role is a permanent position with a full-time contract.

The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the ordering, receipt, and secure management of supplies within the Catering Department. This is essential for delivering an efficient catering service that supports both patient care and commercial operations. Responsibilities include maintaining precise records and completing necessary HACCP Food Safety documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will be responsible for:

  • Placing orders based on established stock levels using various systems.
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding product sourcing and pricing as needed.
  • Receiving deliveries and conducting necessary checks in line with established procedures.
  • Ensuring the secure storage of all inventory, including stock areas and access keys.
  • Distributing stock to the Main Kitchen and various departments, ensuring accurate documentation of requisitions.
  • Assisting management with stock audits as required.
  • Adhering to the Food Safety policy, particularly regarding the receipt, delivery, and storage of food and non-food items.
  • Conducting quality checks on all goods received, ensuring proper stock rotation.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Level 2 award in food safety or equivalent.
