IRT Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Team Manager to lead our IRT Team in Bury. As a key member of our Children's Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely assessment and intervention for our children, achieving this through professional and reflective supervision, supporting staff learning and development, and ensuring the production of high-quality work to improve the outcomes for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Advanced Social Work practitioners and Social Workers in providing high-quality services to children and families.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Provide professional and reflective supervision to team members.
- Support staff learning and development through training and coaching.
- Ensure the production of high-quality work through effective management and quality assurance processes.
We are looking for a candidate with substantive previous experience of working with children and their families in a statutory social care environment. You will need to have good knowledge of legislation and professional practice and will have the opportunity to work with children and families alongside management responsibilities, such as chairing meetings and supervising and supporting social workers.
