Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a successful SEN school in Islington.

About the Role:

  • Support lower ability and SEN pupils in Primary key stages, working across a range of subjects.
  • Assist SEN pupils with learning on a 1-2-1 and small group basis.
  • Support the Class Teacher in delivering lessons and classroom management.
  • Be a positive and happy presence in class, providing pupils with encouragement and praise.
  • Be creative and think outside the box to make learning fun and accessible for SEN students.

Requirements:

  • Relevant work or volunteer experience working with children or young people.
  • A Degree or equivalent.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player.
