Position Overview:

As the Deputy Manager of In-Room Dining at Hotel Café Royal, you will play a crucial role in a distinguished service team that interacts with our guests throughout their stay. This position is primarily operational, requiring a hands-on and adaptable approach to ensure our team consistently delivers a high standard of service during all service periods. Mastering the art of providing refined yet unobtrusive service is essential, and as part of a skilled management team, you will guide our service staff effectively.

To excel in this role, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of the correct service procedures and a profound appreciation for Food and Beverage, enabling you to support your team effectively. Your responsibilities will span across various service sessions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Significant experience in the operations of Restaurants & Bars is required.
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a 5-star hotel, Private Members Club, Fine Dining, or another luxury hospitality setting.
  • Flexibility to work during mornings, evenings, and weekends is essential.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience in scheduling, staff rotas, and recruitment is advantageous.
