Project Engineering Manager Job Description

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of projects on site, from minor to medium, and working directly alongside the Site Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage around 10 projects on site, including small machinery upgrades and scheduled production line installation projects.
  • Support the Site Engineering Manager in day-to-day engineering activities.
  • Manage external contractors on site.
Requirements:
  • Background in engineering with the ability to understand manufacturing processes.
  • Process engineering knowledge.
  • Proven competency in using Microsoft Project.
  • Recognised Engineering qualification, e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND/NVQ.
  • Accustomed to fast-paced and challenging working environments.
What We Offer:
  • £50,000 salary (pro-rata).
  • Monday to Friday, days role.
  • Full autonomy in managing projects.
  • 6-9 month FTC with potential for extension or permanent opportunity.
