Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Instructor to join our client's Driver Training Academy in Weston-Super-Mare. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering training courses to commercial customers and in-house loaders/drivers on various pieces of plant vehicles, including HGV lorries and mechanical handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver LGV Driver Training Cat C and CE, as well as Plant and Mechanical handling training, to meet the needs of our clients and their customers.
• Develop and write training courses within the logistics industry to ensure our clients can service customer needs effectively.
• Train and assess our clients' current team of loaders/drivers to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Represent the Driver Training Academy in a professional manner at all times, promoting our services to customers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• LGV CE full licence with over 3 years of experience.
• Experience in training candidates up to DVSA test standard in all categories of LGV.
• DVSA test route knowledge.
• ITSSAR/AITT instructor qualification for MHE.
• Instructor qualification, such as PTLLS.
• Competence in teaching Driver CPC courses.
• Ability to participate in the writing of new course material.
• Knowledge of the logistics training industry.
• Excellent management of own time.
• Computer skills.
• PCV full licence.
• ADR instructor qualification.
