Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Skilled Electrician to become a vital part of our Responsive Repairs team. This role is based in Greater Manchester and is offered on a full-time permanent basis.
As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Service Manager and will be tasked with various responsibilities including repairs, testing, safety inspections, electrician certifications, and troubleshooting within our Responsive Repairs framework.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Certified qualifications and proven experience in both domestic and commercial electrical tasks.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installation, and maintenance.
- Competence in completing necessary certifications, adhering to established procedures, and accurately documenting data.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and instructions effectively.
- Experience in a customer-focused setting, meeting performance targets.
- Capacity to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to seeking guidance when necessary.
- Physical capability to perform tasks and lift weights in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety Practices.
- Exemplifies the core values of our organization.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- ECS/JiB – Graded Electrician certification.
- Additional skills in other building trades beyond electrical work.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installation, and maintenance.
Essential Qualifications:
- City and Guilds Pt 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level 3).
- 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS certification.
