Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Unreal Gameplay Developer to work collaboratively with our Creative Direction and fellow engineers to implement efficient and maintainable game systems. As a key member of our team, you will design, prototype, and implement gameplay features and supporting systems, as well as produce tools and debug features to help designers and programmers develop gameplay features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design, prototype, implement, and test gameplay features and supporting systems.
  • Tool Development: Produce tools or debug features to help designers or programmers develop gameplay features.
  • Collaboration: Consult with other engineers and designers on the team to develop systems for the game.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with other teams to enhance efforts collaboratively.
Requirements
  • Software Development Experience: 5+ years of software development experience in the games or film industry.
  • Unreal Engine Expertise: A strong grasp of Unreal Engine, from Blueprints to core C++ modules.
  • Programming Skills: Strong modern C++ skills (C++17/20) and proficiency in modern Python and relevant frameworks and libraries.
  • Source Control and Collaboration: Familiarity with source control systems and collaborative development, including git and perforce.
  • Gameplay Experience: Experience building gameplay features in a multiplayer environment.
  • Debugging and Optimization: Strong debugging and optimization skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-Motivation: Solution-driven and self-motivated.
