Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Robson Handling Technology Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, including design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of baggage handling systems.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather requirements, identify technical constraints, and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors involved in electrical installation and integration activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall project requirements.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with performance requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to onsite personnel, including installation technicians, maintenance staff, and operators, to facilitate smooth project execution and operation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and customers to communicate project status, achievements, and lessons learned.
- An industry applicable Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering project management, preferably in the airport or transportation industry.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, standards, and practices, with expertise in power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD or similar design software for creating electrical drawings and schematics.
- Project management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP) is desirable.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK and internationally.
