About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in South West Complex Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any incidents or concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide the best possible care.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
