Job Title: Apprentice Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apprentice Gas Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their heating systems are running efficiently and safely.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Gas Engineer to work with a reputable heating contractor operating in the private sector. You will be responsible for carrying out annual service visits, repairing central heating systems, and maintaining gas appliances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out annual service visits to ensure gas appliances are safe and functioning correctly
  • Repair and maintain central heating systems, including boilers and radiators
  • Conduct gas safety checks and provide reports to clients
  • Work independently, using a tablet device to manage appointments and diagnose system faults
  • Use Exsol computer diagnosis system to diagnose boiler and system faults
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, adhering to industry regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
  • 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
  • ACS Qualifications, including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
  • Panel Van (plain or sign written)
  • Gas Safe Registration
  • Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
  • £2m Public Liability Insurance
  • No unspent criminal convictions
