Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our Care Team at Queens House Kelso. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents who experience conditions such as dementia, physical health conditions, and end-of-life care.
Key Responsibilities- Attend to the daily care needs of our residents, including their personal care needs, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Senior Healthcare Support Workers.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered care and support to our residents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans that promote the autonomy and dignity of our residents.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in dementia care and support.
- A competitive hourly rate of £13.04-£14.08.
- A flexible rota system working over a 7-day period.
- Full training and SVQ Level 3.
- Paid breaks.
- Double time for festive days and New Year.
- A genuine passion for working with older adults and individuals with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
