Job Title: Sanitation Operative
Salary: £9,518 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours: 16 hours per week

As a Sanitation Operative at FCC Environment, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the health and safety of all personnel, contractors, and visitors on site. You will play a crucial role in minimizing environmental impact while maintaining high standards of service and product quality. Your efforts will contribute to the efficient operation of the site in alignment with the annual budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform general cleaning tasks across all designated areas.
  2. Conduct specialized cleaning in specific locations such as canteens and restrooms.
  3. Manage waste and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal.
  4. Utilize dust control mops and brushes for floor maintenance.
  5. Employ wet or damp mops for thorough floor cleaning.
  6. Dust and polish furniture, ledges, and other surfaces as needed.
  7. Restock consumable items like soap and toilet rolls when necessary.
  8. Maintain cleanliness in toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
  9. Follow safety protocols when using chemical agents, after receiving proper training.
  10. Engage in periodic cleaning tasks such as wall washing and window cleaning.
  11. Ensure cleanliness of kitchen appliances and work surfaces.
  12. Keep internal entrances and stairways clean and tidy.
  13. Identify and report any safety or maintenance concerns to management.
  14. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines during task performance.
