Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to implement individual education plans and ensure that students receive the support they need.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Assist students with their learning activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Support small groups or individual students who require extra help, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Relevant experience working with children with SEN, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom environment, with part-time hours and the potential to work with students who have challenging behavior or medical needs across various year groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
