This position involves day shifts where we seek dedicated and skilled operators to transport goods using Class 2 rigid vehicles to various business locations, ensuring a high standard of customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities of the Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator:

  • Multi-drop deliveries utilizing dual temperature controlled vehicles.
  • Completing between 3 to 7 deliveries per shift.
  • Shifts typically last between 10-13 hours, in compliance with working time and driving regulations.
  • Start times range from 4am-8am or 1pm-3pm, with flexibility required as these may change daily.
  • Delivering goods on cages to various store locations.
  • Availability for 4 out of 7 weekends is essential.
  • Manual handling is part of the role, including pushing cages at delivery points.
  • Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours of work per shift.
  • Long-term ongoing opportunities available.

Requirements for the Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator:

  • Possession of a valid UK driving licence - category C.
  • Current CPC and Digi Card.
  • No more than 6 penalty points on driving licence.
