STS Technical Services is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and repair services, and we are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our growing team.

As a key member of the Operations Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of aircraft and engine-related services to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will encompass the meticulous processing of customer work packages, transforming them into actionable formats for use within our maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Package Management: Accurately convert customer-supplied work package documentation into a format suitable for our maintenance operations.
  • Work Pack Assessment and Engineering: Conduct thorough assessments of customer-provided work packages to develop comprehensive STS-engineered work packs, including detailed tooling requirements and coordination with external agencies.
  • System Integration: Seamlessly import customer-supplied work packages into our company's computer system.
  • Documentation Control: Maintain meticulous records by ensuring all relevant maintenance data, proformas, cross-reference documents, and drawings are securely attached to the corresponding work package.
  • Production Planning Expertise: Identify critical milestones, including parts, tooling, and resource needs for planned maintenance activities, adhering to PART-145 production planning standards.
  • Resource Coordination: Collaborate effectively with resources to ensure adequate manpower levels are in place to meet the required workload demands.
  • Third-Party Liaison: Identify and coordinate with third-party providers such as NDT specialists, aircraft reweighing services, and exterior cleaning contractors.
  • Human Factors Consideration: Prioritize task scheduling that takes into account human factors considerations to optimize efficiency and safety.
  • Safety Task Identification: Accurately identify safety-critical tasks, including CDCCL requirements, independent inspections, EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems) procedures, and other critical maintenance activities.
  • Work Package Updates: Ensure all late additions to work packages are properly documented and recorded on the pack index.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct 100% audits of completed paperwork to guarantee completeness and accuracy.
  • Document Return: Scan finalized work packages and return them to customers promptly, adhering to agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support for Check Managers: Provide valuable assistance to Check Managers during maintenance input processes.
  • Procedural Audits: Work collaboratively with Check Managers to conduct procedural audits during maintenance activities, ensuring all tasks are executed correctly and documented meticulously.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in daily meetings and lead Pre-Input Meetings to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Planning Manager to contribute to the overall success of the team.

  • Analytical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong analytical abilities to assess customer work packages, identify requirements, and develop comprehensive solutions.

  • Organizational Skills: Maintain meticulous attention to detail and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of assignments.
