Job Description

Job Title: Aircraft Compliance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Compliance Manager to join our team at Tesco Underwriting Ltd. As a key member of our Risk Compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regulatory advice to the business on compliance with FCA conduct regulation, including Consumer Duty, CONC, BCOBS, DISP, SYSC, etc.
  • Oversee the risk and control environment for conduct, regulatory, and product risks.
  • Support risk and control owners in addressing control weaknesses and suggesting remedial actions where events and breaches arise.
  • Carry out thematic oversight reviews, testing, and quality assurance by following the compliance monitoring plan, largely focused on FCA sourcebooks like CONC, BCOBS, DISP.
  • Highlight shortcomings in compliance processes, systems, and procedures and suggest appropriate improvements.
  • Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
  • Prepare reports for the Board and oversight committees.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of data protection.
  • Qualifications in regulatory compliance.
  • Good listening and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Good report writing skills, with the ability to understand how to deliver key messages.
