Job Title: Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Associate to join our Infrastructure Team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified surveyor to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our infrastructure business. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including land and property valuation, negotiation of compensation and disturbance claims, and rural asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Land and property valuation
  • Negotiation of compensation and disturbance claims
  • Rural asset management, including direct contact with clients, tenants, and contractors
  • Rural property lettings and tenders
  • Site visits and property inspections
  • Face-to-face and virtual engagement with landowners, stakeholders, and their professional representatives
  • Consents for access across third-party land for works
  • CPO promotion work
  • Develop and undertake new business/relationship opportunities
  • Implementation of policy and ensuring legal compliance
  • Management of surveyors working across the team
  • Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team
Requirements:

We are looking for a RICS qualified surveyor with PQE experience in a commercial, rural, or infrastructure surveying role. You should have a business development-orientated attitude and a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Compulsory purchase experience is desirable, but not essential. You must also be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of relevant legislation and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
