Job Title: Senior Broker

Location: Southend

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Broker to join our team at JLD Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Broker, you will be responsible for generating new business from leads generated by our marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet monthly new business targets by working closely with the renewals team to manage a smooth handover post placement.
  • Develop close working relationships with our panel of insurers.
  • Cross-sell products according to the demands and needs of our clients.
  • Assist directors and other staff members when requested.

Requirements:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of insurance, including Combined Liability, Contractors All Risks, Professional Indemnity, and Motor Fleet.
  • Competence in Acturis, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook programs.
  • Excellent written and telephone skills.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand and assist clients and fellow staff members with insurance queries.
