Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Specialist to join our Estates Maintenance Team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plumbing-related plant and equipment at our properties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and a proven track record of working on complex water and drainage systems. You will be required to demonstrate a multi-skilled approach and be willing to learn new techniques to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Main Duties
  • Undertake routine maintenance and repairs to plumbing-related plant and equipment
  • Conduct site visits to identify and address any issues with water and drainage systems
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in on-call rota to provide 24/7 support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in plumbing and maintenance
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Technical Craft Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Recognized plumbing apprenticeship with a high level of competence
  • Strong knowledge of water and drainage systems, including hot and cold water distribution, sanitary fittings, and drainage systems
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Manual handling and gas safety training
