About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Mildmay Mission Hospital. As a Band 5/6 Community Rehab Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist occupational therapy input to patients referred to the ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex and long-term pathologies and impairments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including risk assessments and management plans.
  • Conduct clinical risk assessments and complete risk management plans as required.
  • Supervise and mentor OT students, ensuring they receive high-quality training and education.
  • Participate in clinical audit, research projects, and evaluation work to maintain and improve service delivery.
Requirements
  • Registration with the HCPC as an occupational therapist.
  • Postgraduate level study/training in occupational therapy.
  • Experience in rehabilitation, HIV, and mental health settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
