Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Planning Enforcement Officer to join our team at Carrington West. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for investigating alleged breaches of planning control and providing reports to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate alleged breaches of planning control and provide accurate reports to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct site visits and undertake accurate site monitoring to ensure compliance with planning regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the planning team to ensure all targets and deadlines are met.
  • Manage a mixed caseload of applications, including Gypsy and Traveller site experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Planning Enforcement Officer or in a related field.
  • Access to a vehicle or a valid UK driving license for travel to and from the office and site visits.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
