Experienced Culinary Specialist Required - Thorney Island - Facilities Management Provider - £15 per hour

CBW Staffing Solutions is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Culinary Specialist to join a reputable organization located in Thorney Island. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in culinary arts and be available to start immediately on a flexible schedule.

Work Schedule/Details:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 11:00am to 19:00pm
  • Contract type - Ongoing
  • Compensation - £15 per hour
  • Immediate availability required
Important Note: Please apply only if you can commit to the specified days and times and hold a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate.

Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Culinary Arts or equivalent, Food Safety Certificate – Level 2
Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficient and effective food preparation according to established recipes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all menu offerings
  • Management of food production to minimize waste
  • Ensuring adequate food supply throughout service periods
  • Upholding food quality and brand standards
  • Maintaining high hygiene and health and safety standards, identifying any discrepancies or incidents
  • Documenting all food consumption and overproduction
  • Assisting in the preparation of opening and closing checklists for shifts
  • Collaborating with the line manager to discuss potential improvements
  • Training and mentoring new team members on kitchen procedures and standards
  • Participating in relevant training as needed
