Ramboll, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Environmental Due Diligence Consultant to join our Compliance, Strategy and Transactions (CST) Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our transaction advisory practice, working on challenging projects for high-calibre clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of environmental due diligence projects across various sectors, including data room document reviews, confirmatory site visits, and reporting.
- Identify, assess, and communicate environmental risks and opportunities to clients and stakeholders, ensuring appropriate consideration.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of key UK and European environmental regulations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in environmental policy and regulation.
- Build working relationships and collaborate with our international environmental due diligence team, enhancing opportunities to work on diverse projects and develop international due diligence knowledge and experience.

- Demonstrable experience in environmental due diligence consulting, including data room reviews, site visits, and reporting for purchaser- and vendor-driven projects.
- Ability to quickly and succinctly interpret and critically analyze environmental and relevant information, assessing potential risks or opportunities and proposing pragmatic solutions.
- Professional understanding of the UK and key European legal framework of environmental liabilities and compliance requirements, with the ability to advise clients on liability management options and potential financial liabilities.
- Experience working with UK and international colleagues and sub-consultants to ensure timely and commercially successful delivery of environmental due diligence projects and deliverables.
- Project management or project management support experience in environmental due diligence.
