Position: Software Engineering Technical Lead

Are you passionate about coding in Java or Angular while also guiding a team?

Role Summary

As a Software Engineering Technical Lead, you will be instrumental in the growth and guidance of one of our engineering teams. You will take charge of the technical trajectory of designated projects while also contributing your development skills in Java or Angular.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Direction: Lead the technical strategy for assigned projects, including system architecture, design choices, and technology selection.
  • Active Development: Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code utilizing Java, Spring Boot, or Angular.
  • Mentorship & Code Evaluation: Promote a culture of learning by mentoring junior and mid-level developers. Provide constructive feedback through code reviews.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Management, Quality Assurance) to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in the Java ecosystem. (Experience with AWS is a plus)

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Software Engineering Lead or Software Engineering Manager overseeing a team of developers, testers, and a product owner.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Java or Angular.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for mentoring and developing others.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively.
