Pertemps Aylesbury is supporting a local Public Sector client who is seeking to appoint a Tutor within their Student Support team during term time (40 weeks per year).
Job Overview:
This role involves providing group tutorials covering Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare subjects to students.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a range of tutorial materials and resources in line with various areas of study.
Plan, facilitate and deliver engaging tutorial lessons to groups of students, promoting their personal development and well-being.
Develop, co-ordinate and implement strategies for raising student attendance, liaising with parents, students and staff to ensure effective communication.
Contact parents and carers to inform them of issues that have arisen, such as poor attendance or behaviour.
Ensure Personal Development tutorial materials are up to date and relevant to the students' needs.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience working within an education setting with a pastoral support role, providing guidance and support to students.
Salary:
£24,000 - £26,000 Pro rata
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to the success of the Student Support team.
