Key Holder Sales Assistant

Deichmann is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant – with Key Holder responsibilities – to join our team in Weston Super Mare store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the store as required, ensuring a secure environment for customers and staff.
  • Manage a set of store keys, maintaining their security and integrity.
  • Engage with customers, providing expert advice on our products and services.
  • Process sales transactions at the till, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Recommend and promote complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the shop floor is always clean and tidy, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
  • Perform additional duties as required, supporting the smooth operation of the store.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.

  • A methodical approach to completing daily tasks, including stock management and inventory control.
  • High levels of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the role.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team, supporting the achievement of store objectives.
  • A commitment to work 20 hours per week, with flexibility to work any day (Monday-Sunday).

Salary and Benefits:

Up to £11.84 per hour, plus non-contractual hourly sales commission.
