Your Challenge

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Engineer to enhance our Field Engineering Services Team.

What you will do

The primary objective of this position is to uphold Traffic Signal apparatus in accordance with client specifications while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and conditions. Reporting to the Supervisor, a crucial duty of this role is to sustain and activate all facets of the team’s portfolio. The ideal candidate will consistently represent the Company's interests, ensuring that all routine and urgent tasks are executed in alignment with contractual stipulations. This role will also encompass supporting the maintenance of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental certifications. You will be expected to perform maintenance tasks around the clock (including standby) to prevent any penalties. Familiarity with the contract, client details, and project scope is also essential. Occasionally, there may be a need to work at other Company sites, which could involve overnight stays.

Your Profile

What we are looking for

To successfully fulfill this role, the following key skills and experiences are required:

  • GCSEs in English, Maths & Sciences (or equivalent)
  • Sector 8 Accreditation (Preferred, however, training will be provided)
  • A solid understanding of traffic signal site installation and fundamental theory
  • Knowledge of traffic controllers and associated equipment
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to work at elevated heights
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Organized, trustworthy, and self-motivated
  • Valid driving license.
